We let our customers talking........

 Actually Great!!
I'm a regular customer over here. No free product or and type of connection to the maker of these boots whatsoever. I am a NYC Union Carpenter, Local 212 High Rise Concrete carpenters. We basically build the building using concrete forming systems like Doka, Ulma, Pirri and the oldie but goodie Simmons panels. The job site i work on is very unforgiving. Were out in the elements no matter what the season. There's a lot of Rebar everywhere and LOTS of climbing as well. So, it's fair to say i put my boots through hell. On average I get a pair of boots to last maybe 8 months on a good note, and 6 months if we have crazy whether like lots of rain or snow. Ive tried almost all the popular boots with the trades. Thorogood's, Redwings, Timberland, Wolverine, Brunt, and now these Sureways.

Right out of the box I was surprised. They feel like a quality boot. I use the 8" so it was nice to see that from the ankle up, they were padded like the whole boot. Alot of the popular brands will just have straight leather there, which sucks in the winter. These were pretty nice. They also felt really good to the touch. Meaning like the bottoms were to stiff or that hard rubber that's found on some of the cheaper boots. I would call these the Brunt Twin. They are more or less a pair of brunt's. The only difference is the $50+ you save when buying these. they also give you a pair of decent insoles. Like a free pair of Dr. Scholls. They also include a spacer like insole. I guess some people need that cause brunt also included something like that. If you need a good pair of boots and the money situation is a little tight, I Highly suggest these. I will say though out of all the boots I've tried, there has been none as comfortable as RedWing. But they come with a $300+ price tag. More than Double what these cost.

Exceptional fit, comfort, support, and materials – the best work boots I have ever owned.
These Sureway boots have exceptional attributes, and I will simply start by saying that these are the finest, best-made, and by far the most comfortable and “easy on my feet” work boots that I have had the pleasure of owning. They are by far the most impressive set of work boots that I have ever put my feet into.

For a work boot, I have found that the combination of the sole material and the insole material makes for the most padded and comfortable experience I have had outside of a maximally cushioned running shoe. The difference in comfort, fatigue, and shock absorption compared to all my other boots is extraordinary, and there really is not much of a comparison between them. Despite their size and rugged construction, these boots are a pleasure to wear and work in. Seemingly, the harder the surface you are walking on, the more compliant and comfortable these boots feel. The pounding or “jarring” that I sometimes experience with lesser boots, and the cumulative fatiguing that it has on my feet over the course of a day is moderated and minimized by a significant degree when wearing these boots.

The leather exterior is durable, and despite being work boots, I can’t help but appreciate how nicely these are crafted and how impressively sharp and eye-catching they are. It’s almost a shame that I have to wear them in rough conditions, but, oh well, I’ll get over it, lol. But they really do have a fine, high quality appearance and feel – almost a touch of luxuriousness about them – impressive for a work boot.

As far as fit and support, well, I have found both to be fantastic. I typically wear a size 9 boot, and sometimes a size 9 EE when it comes to cowboy boots, and I have found that with a modest tube sock, these boots in a size 9.5 fit me very well. The support and protection are excellent, and I am a big fan of the soft “moc toe” design, which in my opinion, if far more comfortable than traditional work boot toe designs. The interior is lined with a soft material and there is what feels to be a light amount of insulation as well, including on the tongue.

I recognize that there are a wide variety of work boots types out there for a variety of conditions, and it seems that none of them can do everything perfectly, and I think that is to be expected. For example, these boots do not have a steel toe – something of a tradeoff I assume to have the soft “moc toe” design that is so darn comfortable. In addition, the sole on these boots offers good traction on hard surfaces and as far as I can tell, also helps to provide overall cushioning for your feet. However, the tread is not aggressive (it is only a few millimeters deep) so don’t expect good traction for muddy or slick off-road type conditions. Again, that’s just part of the trade-off when choosing a boot for your needs. I feel that the soles gravitate toward concrete, asphalt, wood, or other firmer, dry surfaces. Wet grass, wet leaves, mud/muck and winter-weather type scenarios for sure will require much more caution and care if you are wearing these boots as I don’t think the soles will provide much traction if any in those circumstances.

My bottom line here is that I see these as five-star boots that are comfortable, durable, and made darn-well. Additionally, I see the price point for theme as very reasonable - currently $140 but sometimes less with a coupon - and that is a lot less than some of the name brand competition out there. For someone like me that has what seems to have non-stop projects underway but is not occupationally employed in such a manner, these boots are perfect, and as far as I can see, are around half the price of the big names out there which I would never spend that much money on. I will say that when I am into my projects, I work hard and, well, my body takes a beating, lol, but as I mentioned at the beginning of this review, these are the best work boots I have ever owned and I consider them as something of a luxury compared to what I and my feet have been enduring over many years.
