5 stars of the work boots

These are the 2nd set of work boots I own from this brand, Sureway. They are sturdy, and comfortable. Here are my impressions so far:

*The boots have great traction on all surfaces, indoors and outdoors because the soles are rugged and heavily lugged. *The support for the ankles is good yet it still allows enough movement to feel unrestricted. The collar of the boot has plenty of padding to make it comfortable against the skin even when wearing lower socks.
*I usually wear orthotic inserts in all my boots, so my opinion may be skewed by that fact, but I feel like the insole could use a little more cushion and arch support. However, as a runner, I have worn orthodics my whole life and you may feel that the insoles are completely fine the way they are.
*The leather is nice, offers great protection, however, boots can get pretty warm on summer days, but all leather boots do that. They are nice on cooler days as they somewhat maintain a constant temperature.
*The laces are quality and sturdy. They are long enough to work well and double knot but not overly long like on some other work boots I have gotten.
*I really like the darker color and the black at the toe and contrasted at the ankle cuffs. The rubber toe kick helps prevent scuffs, which is a nice feature to those of us who are a little hard on boots.
*While all work boots, especially those with steel toes, are heavy, these boots from Sureway are mostly comfortable to wear for full days. These boots have perform well so far in my daily work environment. I think they will last a long time.

For all the above reasons, I am happy with the boots and I give them a 5 star rating.

My existing work boots were on their way out and I was keeping an eye out for something new. I didn't have anything in particular in mind so when I came across this pair from Sureway that fitted the bill I ordered them.

I was a little surprised when they arrived. They were surprisingly good looking and quite honestly I'd be more than happy to simply wear them out and about as casual boots!

Having said that, these boots are rugged as can be. They are very well put together and are certainly comfortable. Inserts are provided if the fit isn't quite right or snug enough, but I found that they fitted okay for me without. I was wearing what I would call boot socks which are what I would normally wear year-round.

Apart from working around the yard, I am also someone who spends a lot of time out and about in all sorts of places for photography and I have always used a decent pair of work boots to protect my feet. These certainly do that. To quote an old saw, "they are as tough as old boots."

Additionally, they are comfortable. Not just comfortable for a couple of hours, or just for a morning, but all day comfortable. I have worn these from first thing in the morning to dusk while out in the country and they were still comfortable at the end of the day. No aching feet.

Overall, these are a very well designed and made pair of work boots. Comfortable and capable of standing up to a lot of abuse. If you're in the market I recommend this pair by Sureway.
