If you can’t make up your mind get these!

I picked up a pair of Sureway work boots and loved the look, so when I had a chance at these, I grabbed them. They're quite nice for the price, and I'm glad I did.
First the fit. Previous reviews don't give a lot of guidance: one review says they run large, one says they run small. Here's my chance to add to the confusion. My normal shoe size is between a 10.5 (sometimes too narrow) and an 11 (sometimes too long). I ordered the 11 in this case, because I didn't like the idea of pressure from the steel toe.
Well, the 11 fits me perfectly. I feel no extra room in there for bulky socks at all, in fact, though these are very comfortable. Interestingly, the sizing listed on the tongue shows US 11, UK 10.5, and EU 44. The first two line up correctly, but according to most size charts, an EU 44 translates to a US 10. 5 and a UK 10. Go figure. (It could be that manufacturers of these types of shoes don't bother to understand EU sizing—I just reviewed a pair of gym shoes whose EU size was wrong in the opposite direction.) Anyway, I feel lucky these fit perfectly. Maybe if you're a borderline size, consider going for half a size bigger.
The interior is very yielding and comfortable—maybe that adds to the sensation of a good fit. And the wedge heal makes me feel 20 feet tall like an invincible monster who could stomp anything or anybody (—maybe not a good thing, since I have no natural inclination or aptitude for violence).
I think these look good. The leather is nice for the price, and these have a heavy, maybe even clunky appeal. It's also nice that there's no obvious logo on them (the Sureway symbol is subtly imprinted on each heel), which upholds the classic appearance.
One photo I added shows me wearing these: I won't ask forgiveness for my pasty legs because I like them that way. The other photo is a comparison shot, of these boots next to a version of the same thing from Ralph Lauren RRL, which I think retailed for something like $500!! (Not that I paid that much, but still...) The RRL boots (which are a US 10.5) look more refined and are much better in the details (leather lining, rivets, nicer stitching, slimmer, more elegant shape, and so on). But at that price, they'd better be better! The RRLs are less like real work boots and more like a hipster version of them. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
But these bulky ones look good, and I don't have to worry about messing them up. (When the Ralphs got scratched at the heel recently, I freaked out in a most unbecoming way.) In fact, these will only look better with wear, I predict, and maybe it's worth souping them up a little with tone-tone leather laces like those on the RRLs.
Last thing: there's a little USA flag tag on each of these, but the country of manufacture is nowhere to be found anywhere—not on the boots, not on the packaging, not in the online ad, nowhere. So we can guess.
