All Around Excellent Good Quality Work Boots That Are Made-Well And Very Durable
I got these SUREWAY soft/composite toe heavy duty waterproof work boots a few weeks ago and have worn them multiple times since. They are excellent work boots in every regard, except that they don't have steel toe protection and are not puncture proof. Their quality, craftsmanship, stitching, reinforcements, and durability are phenomenal. Despite not having steel toe protection or being puncture proof, wearing these nonetheless feels like wearing tanks on your feet that can help get through any job. They are completely metal free, which is great for travelling and working around magnets, chemicals, or with electricity, and in other industries.
They are excellent in terms of their waterproofing, insulation/thickness, and in keeping the feet warm and dry. I wore these outside to shovel snow off of walkways around my house and my feet remained completely dry, warm, and comfortable the entire time, despite my feet and the boots being submerged in 6-8 inches of snow. The exterior sole is thick and looks like rubber or polyurethane, and it has provided me an excellent grip and traction on both hard and soft surfaces (concrete, wood, tile, carpets, rugs, snow, grass, etc.), but wearing these while walking on an indoor tiled floor resulted in these making some sort of squeaky-like noises when walking on such floor. When I wore them in an automotive garage where there was some oil and fuel on the floor (not like puddles, but just some here and there in a busy mechanic's garage), there were no issues with slipping or sliding while walking around in such. Again, good grip and traction.
The upper portion of the boot is leather, stitched very well, and has extra thick padding around the ankle area, which I found to be particularly good at giving me stability and support in my ankle areas and for insulating my feet from cold temperatures and harmful things in the environment (e.g., snow, thorns, barbed wire, sparks from welding, etc.).
The laces are not wax coated (from what I can tell), but they have plastic caps on the ends to help prevent the ends from fraying over time, and the laces have a good length (see video) to enable tying these laces in a variety of ways if desired.
Sureway boots have removable washable insoles that are thick and that have some arch support cushioning built in (see video) and they also come with "fit inserts" (shown in the video) that can be inserted under the insoles to help customize the fit. I ordered these in size 11 and they fit me just fine, but were a little uncomfortable for the first few hours of wearing them, yet after breaking them in they became very comfortable (for reference, I wear a standard size 11 in U.S. sizing and these in size 11 fit me just fine). I would definitely advise anyone ordering these to wear them a few hours or a good 1-2 days to break them in and loosen them up so they are more comfortable.
As noted above, the toe area does not have steel toe protection, but it does have some reinforced support in the toe area that makes it hard to bend/push the toe area in, with the result that these provide good toe protection despite not having steel toe protection.
The current price (about $110 dollars at the time of this review) is a good price for boots of this quality and durability.
I strongly recommend these for electricians, mechanics, nuclear power plant workers, hikers, anyone working around powerful magnets, anyone looking to travel with metal free work boots, and anyone else looking for an all around great work boot that is made well, durable, waterproof, comfortable, metal free, with a great grip/traction, and made of real leather.
Built To Last And Ready For Anything
Sureway boots mean business, and according to my husband, they’re like clouds for his feet—if clouds were rugged, leather-bound, and built to tackle concrete floors! After a week on the job in these boots, he’s hooked, and I’ve officially earned the “best wife ever” badge. Whether he’s dealing with wet surfaces, gravel, or just long hours, these boots keep him moving in comfort and style.
Pros:
-Slip, Oil, and Water Resistant: These outsoles are like the super heroes of work boots! They grip onto flat, wet, or oily surfaces like their life depends on it. He says he no longer feels like he’s ice-skating on the job.
-Supreme Comfort: These boots are all-day comfort champions. They come with a cushioned insole and dense, silky lining that feels like a hug for his feet, even on concrete. Plus, the insoles are removable, making it easy to keep them fresh.
-Shock Absorption & Stability: The rubber+EVA sole combo provides fantastic shock absorption and a nice cushy landing with every step. Paired with the Goodyear Welt construction, these boots offer impressive stability—no floppy soles here!
-Built Tough for All Jobs: From standing on concrete to navigating loose gravel, these boots were made for the rugged life. They’re ideal for tradesmen like carpenters, mechanics, plumbers, or anyone in need of a durable and comfortable boot.
-Waterproof & Breathable: The genuine leather upper isn’t just waterproof; it’s also breathable, which means no sweaty foot swamp situation. My husband’s feet stay dry and comfortable, rain or shine.
-Durable Construction: The full-grain leather looks better with age and holds up against whatever he throws at it, from mud to rough terrain. These boots are clearly in it for the long haul.
Cons:
-None. These boots check every box for a reliable, durable, and comfortable work boot.
