Incredible boots for my work!

Sep 10,2024 | Chad Sureway

When I found these on my Vine feed, I was in a world of hurt! I work in a factory for one of, if not the biggest automotive manufacturers in the world and am on my feet for 12 hours a day 3 days a week. I have two other pairs of steel toe boots, which are required for my work, but have issues with my feet in both pairs. My Red Wings are Boa cable tie boots that crunch down on my feet something fierce when tightened. My Georgia Boot Company ones are better, but don't give me good support in my left foot. I also had a pair of Ariat Work boots that would amplify the issues with my left foot that would be enough to make me hobble for about a day or two after working my shift. When I got these, the Ariats were gone because of my issues - ditched in my trash.

The first thing I noticed when I put them on was how smoothly my foot slid into the boot. The inside liners are made of a really smooth material that resembles silk almost. They slid off just as smoothly. That was pretty cool! They came with an insert that goes under the insole that gives bit more comfort at the expense of a bit of space, This will come into play in a bit. The materials were just as good as my more expensive boots and the weight of the boots was equally as impressive. And they are just the right height to be used with either pants or shorts, the latter of which constitute my daily wear when not working because it is hot enough where I live 8 months out of the year to warrant this.

How do they feel on? Holy heck - these things are super comfortable! Probably the best boots for comfort I have ever owned. For the first time since I got my job, my feet didn't hurt at all in the spot I always had issues with. And I didn't have the eyelet inserts crunching down on my feet like with my Red Wings. In short, these felt like a dream on my feet. The first night I worked, I put the extra insert in my boots and they did help with making them super cozy on my soles. However, I did have issues with my toes on my left foot being a bit tight and feeling under pretty good pressure against the top and front of the toe box. The next night, I took that insert out and they still felt really good on my feet and didn't have the pressure as before. That alone made me a huge fan of these boots!

I had to do some detective work once I got them because I was curious about the manufacturer because I had never heard of Sureway footwear. Even then, I still don't have a complete picture of this company. Near as I can tell, though, the company is an American company who makes all their boots in the US. I don't know that completely, though, because nowhere on my boots or the packaging show where the country of origin is. On the website as well as on the tag of my boots, it shows that the company was started by a gentleman named Chad Sureway, like the boots. But something doesn't seem legit about that. But Chad's mission rings true - these are, without a doubt, the best work boots I have ever owned!

I guess the biggest validation for these that I can give is that I now intend to buy another set of boots from Sureway in the coming months. I found a beauty of a pair of black logger boots that I intend on getting. Sureway really knows how to make great boots at a really good price. Honestly, when I saw what the price of these was, I had my doubts. Not anymore - I love these boots. They made it so much easier to be on my feet for 36 hours every weekend. And I have no doubt my next pair will be more of the same. If that isn't a high enough level of praise and a way to convince others to look into these, I don't know what else I could say! Thank you, Sureway!
